Bust friendly basic looking tops can be hard to come by. They can come up short or stretch too much over the bust to accommodate it, or come up too big when the bust is taken into consideration.

Once again, enter BiuBiu, and their Venice tops.

I was recently given the chance to try an Venice top in indigo blue and one in violet, both in size 44BB/BBB.

The Venice was a perfect length on me. It was flattering, covered my tummy and suited my 5’7 long torsoed frame.

The scoop neck didn’t show any cleavage, making it perfectly versatile for formal and casual occasions.

The tops were both a great colour for me and my wardrobe. I wore the violet one out to dinner and managed to score a lump of parmesan from the waiter… Well when in Italy!

In truth, I preferred the fit of the Portofino top as I liked the way it nipped in at my waist, but the Venice was still a great shape on me.

The tops were nice and thick, meaning that they didn’t show my bra through them, and they will be great to wear all year round.

In these photos I paired the tops with an old skirt from New Look, my trusty Maidenform shapewear, a plunge bra from Ewa Michalak and my old Marks and Spencers high heels.

Special thanks goes to the beautiful patient CurvyWordy for taking these photos for me.
